Spring is here and summer will soon be upon us. If you haven't already done so then it's about that time to pull off the storage cover, polish up your two/four wheel machine and get ready for another season of riding. With much more snow accumulation than last year we've enjoyed a great winter season, but as the weather warms up we're eager to be out in the sunshine again and we're ready to get you suited up for the ride!

Our snowcross team had an amazing year this winter! Debuting in their first full ISOC season, Royal-Hall-FXR Racing definitely made their presence known in the 2013 American race series. Dylan Hall and Dave Joanis – both returning riders for the Royal-Hall-FXR team – made the leap to the ISOC series while still competing in CSRA events on their off-weekends. Both ended the ISOC year ranked in the top ten (Hall finished 7th and Joanis 3rd overall), and we're very proud of their achievement.

With the 2013 CMRC season starting up, we are excited about our Royal Distributing Red Bull Fox Racing KTM Factory MX team. We are very pleased to have Colton Facciotti back, fully recovered from last year's injury and ready to compete again in the MX1 class. We're happy to welcome Tyler Medaglia onboard in MX1 and Kaven Benoit riding for us in the MX2 class, who both have proven track records and are ready to bring in the hardware.

What a year for Royal Distributing's Superbike sponsored racer Michael Leon! Michael won the Championship in the RACE Pro Superbike class! Michael also finished 3rd overall in Pro 600 and for 3rd overall in Master Open. Michael also received the Tony Marchese Memorial Award which is presented to the Pro Privateer Competitor judged to be the best appearing rider/machine combination of the season. Leon is excited to defend his #1 plate in the summer of 2013!

Expanding on the Marin bicycle line we have brought in a few new brands this year so our customers have more of a selection. We now carry a full line up of UCC bicycles which have exceptional quality at prices you have come to expect from Royal. In addition we now stock Encore and United BMX bikes for freestyle riders and we have brought in more parts, accessories and apparel from trusted name brands such as Shimano, Giro and Pearl Izumi to keep you pedaling.

We have the latest helmet cam models from GoPro, Contour, and Drift as well as the new Optrix cases which transform your iPhone into a rugged action sports camera. One of the other new items Royal has is the 6D MX helmet, and we are glad to be one of the only retailers in Canada to carry it. This revolutionary helmet's ODS (Omni-Directional Suspension) offers a fully active in-helmet suspension system, check it out on page 26.
