Rolex replica Watch is considered a symbol of status. The biggest luxury brand of the watch is Rolex. That produces 2,000 watches per day, and the revenue is estimated at about US $ 3 billion.
The first 24 hours of Daytona endurance race was in 1962. A year later, Rolex introduced the Daytona collection and began sponsoring the famous car race. It is now called the Rolex 24 in Daytona. Over the years, the iconic model has evolved. It has progressed from the early Paul Newman Daytonas from the 60s and 70s to the latest version of stainless steel and ceramics. Yet the Daytona remains one of the most popular models in the Rolex replica catalog with every repetition. Let's take a closer look at how the Rolex Daytona has changed over the years, and all this while maintaining the popular status.
Rolex first began a series of mechanical chronographs in the 1930s. Yet the Daytona is often regarded as the first official collection of chronographs of the brand. The Daytona is actually a descendant of the Cosmograph. Many believe the Rolex Daytona was launched in 1963, but it was not until 1965 that the name Daytona appeared on the dial. For two years, the chronograph line has been called the Cosmograph. After Rolex set up their collaboration with the 24 Hours of Daytona, the collection became officially the Daytona. Today the original Cosmograph name remains on the dial.
Last week we discussed the Paul Newman fake Daytona ref. 6239, the Daytona model that preceded the Daytona ref. 6262. While the ref. 6262 is available with an exotic dial a.k.a. a Paul Newman version, this specific ref. 6262 has a traditional Daytona dial instead of the exotic one.
Considered as a transition reference, the fake Rolex Daytona 6262 was produced for only one year from 1970 - 1971, so it is a difficult model to get to the replica Rolex market. The ref. 6262 was the bridge between the ref. 6239 (and his sibling reference 6241) and the future ref. 6265 (and his sibling reference 6263). In comparison with the Daytona ref. 6239, the ref. 6262 was provided with an updated movement - Valjoux 727. The manually wound Valjoux 727 beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (vph) instead of the 18,000 vph of the Valjoux 722 found in the ref. 6239.
The fake Rolex Daytona, reference 6262 is one of the rarest vintage Rolex watches ever made. Produced for only one year in 1970, ref. 6262 was a transition model. Instead of using some of Rolex's famous technological innovations, such as the "Oyster" case, ref. 6262 offered a combination of luxury and old-fashioned design. Most seen as gaudy and impractical, the Dayton ref. 6262 did not sell well, was quickly phased out and replaced by more modern and technically advanced models. Now, however, the Rolex Daytona, ref. 6262 is finally being asked and has become one of the rarest replica watches ever made by Rolex replica.
Produced for only one year in 1970, ref. 6262, together with ref. 6238, 6239 and 6241, were the predecessors of the later vintage Oyster Daytona models. These transitional models were essentially business failures, but pave the way for later, highly successful models. Because of the transition state, ref. 6262 was produced in very small quantities. Marked with serial numbers 2.241.000 to 2.589.000, 347.000 Rolex Daytona ref. 6262's were produced in 1970. Within this relatively small production number, only about thirty 18k gold versions of ref. 6262 were even made.
Would I buy a fake Rolex? Of course, because I know that I would not lose money and would be able to wear a great watch (top quality, beautiful, accurate, reliable). It's just a pity that fake Rolex's are already on the wrists of many people, so it does not really say anything about you or your taste when you wear one.
