This adaptor is required to install recoil assembly # 11-421000 on electric start models that did not have factory installed pullstart. Note: Does not fit ACE engines & REV-XU Expedition, WT, ST.
This is also an OEM replacement mount plate for models that did have a factory installed pullstart using OEM # 420-8525-30 / 420-8525-32.
